Skyscraper Awards

ISEN is proud to announce the 11th Annual Skyscraper Awards Program! The Skyscraper Award is presented to those organizations reaching new heights in the events industry. Your best creative efforts are wanted! Presentation: Wednesday, February 4, 2009, during lunch.

There are 8 categories (listed below) and four divisions (Events with overall budgets under $10k; overall budgets between $10k - $50k; overall budgets between $50k - $150k and overall budgets greater than $150k).

Eligibility:

Entrants must be registered to attend the 2009 ISEN State Convention.

Entries:

Entries produced during the calendar year 2008 are eligible. Printed entries must be mounted on poster or foam board. Write the entry category and title, as well as the division on the upper right hand corner. Mount the entry form on the back (you may make copies of the entry form). T-shirts do not need to be mounted on poster or foam board. All entries will be displayed during the convention. Entries are due
January 5, 2009.

Entry Fees:

$5 for each entry. Make checks payable to Chicago Southland CVB. Call Kim Kislowski to pay by credit card. Entries are due January 5, 2009.

Judges:

A panel of graphic arts students and professors from Columbia College Chicago will judge all entries.

Peers Choice:

Each registration packet will include a “Peers Choice” ballot to be cast during the convention. You will have the opportunity to vote for your favorite entry. Presentation of awards will be during lunch on Wednesday, February 4, 2009.
